Cathleen Corlett designed this interpretive sign to be easily legible, ADA accessible and durable. It explains the landscape history and context of Storke Ranch, and the reasons for protecting open space as wildlife habitat.

Design Philosophy

The outdoor spaces at Storke Ranch are an interconnected system of trails, recreation areas, orchards, and protected habitat spaces. The California native and native-compatible plant palette saves water and creates a unified, distinctive identity for each street.
